FAQ
Why should I use mouth tape?
Mouth tape encourages you to breathe through your nose while you sleep, rather than through your mouth. Nose breathing has so many benefits: your nose filters the air you breathe, meaning you take in cleaner, higher-quality oxygen — which can lead to deeper, more restorative sleep.
As a result, you'll wake up looking and feeling more refreshed.
Mouth taping can also help:
- Reduce or even eliminate snoring
- Minimise morning breath
Does it help sculpt my jawline?
Yes! Keeping your mouth closed while you sleep helps to engage and tone the muscles around your jaw, which over time can make your jawline appear more defined.
Can anyone use mouth tape?
Mouth tape is for anyone who wants brighter eyes, a stronger jaw, and a more sculpted chin. Both men and women can use it every night. (We don’t recommend mouth taping for children.)
How do I apply mouth tape?
Simply peel off the backing, stretch the tape slightly, and place it gently over your mouth. It will still stick even if you’ve applied oils or serums — and don't worry, it’s designed to come off easily without damaging your skin.
What if I feel like I can’t breathe?
Try to relax and take slow, deep breaths through your nose. Your body is designed for nasal breathing — and it actually helps promote relaxation. That said, if you ever feel too uncomfortable, gently remove the tape. Take baby steps. It can take a little time to get used to, and that’s completely normal.
Can I wear mouth tape if I have a cold?
Always listen to your body. Nasal breathing can help reduce mucus production and oral bacteria, but if you're feeling very congested, it’s best to skip mouth taping until you’re feeling better.
